Directions & Hours

The Bedford Selectmen recently awarded a contract to Tufts, Inc. to install a new gravity sewer main on Springs Road that will tie into the existing sanitary sewer main in Fox Run Road, to provide sewer service to houses #558, 560 and 562 Springs Road in Bedford.    Work is scheduled to begin November 30th and will continue through the end of the year.  Normal work hours will be Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.  In areas where Springs Road is too narrow for construction, the road will be closed to through traffic and a detour will be arranged.  

Springs Rd. Sewer System Expansion

Come to the Town of Bedford Department of Public Works at 314 The Great Road on Saturday, December 12, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to shred all of your outdated personal and confidential documents while you watch.  This is a proven means to help prevent identity theft and ensure your privacy.  A Shred-It mobile shredding truck will be at the DPW to provide a community shredding event free of charge to Bedford residents.  All paper shredded from the event will be recycled.  For more information, please call 781-275-7605.

The Page Road Bridge is now open for vehicular and pedestrian traffic.  The Town of Bedford appreciates your patience and cooperation during this project. We would like to thank the following people who made this project so successful:
